Details for Assistant Driller Job

Certificates: A valid offshore medical certificate by OGUK.

• OPITO approved offshore survival certificate including HUET.
• Valid well control certificate.

Experience: At least 10 years of oilfield experience with minimum 5 years in similar role.

• Experience with Cyber Base or Amphion systems.

Skills: Excellent communication and time management skills.

Type: Full-time and permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Make sure the drill crew follows all safety rules and procedures during operations.
• Help the driller with tasks and perform duties as assigned.
• Help the driller check and control tools and supplies for smooth daily work.
• Keep track of the Trip Tank and record accurate data when assigned this responsibility.
• Assist the driller in keeping a neat and accurate of the pipe tally.
• Give daily tasks to the DES Maintenance Crew to ensure proper work completion.
• Help and guide the derrickman in taking care of the drilling mud equipment.
• Work with the derrickman to check and fix issues in the derrick as needed.
