Truck Drivers Job Overview

Education: Secondary high school graduation certificate or equivalent degree.

Experience: Candidates with or without driving experience are welcome to apply.

Vacancies: Multiple

License: Driver’s license (Class 1 ot A)

Salary: 28$ to 31$ per hour for 30 to 70 hours a week

Type: Contractual basis and full-time position

Benefits: Financial and medical facilities

Security: A valid passport and driving record check.

Permit: Must have a valid work permit of Canada.

Other: Ability to handle weight upto 9kg.

Skills: Good driving and time management skills.

Main duties of Truck Drivers

Drive in a group or two person team for long distance transportation.
Obtain specific licenses and paperwork needed to move cargo internationally.
Deliver products by driving straight and articulated trucks.
Monitor vehicle condition and inspect tires, light, brakes, and other parts.
Perform brake adjustments on weekly basis.
Cover cargo and take the appropriate safety and security measures.
