As a sample collector, you’ll visit orchards gather kiwifruit samples on foot, and deliver the to collection points. The role is flexible but requires commitment during the busiest months typically March and April. You’ll need good level of fitness and a valid driver’s license to avail this job opportunity. Details for Seasonal Sample Collectors Job

Education: Degree or diploma is not necessary for this position.

Experience: No experience is required and full training will be provided by the company.

License: Full class 1 driver’s license.

Type: Fixed term and seasonal employment.

Skills: Good map reading skills with ability to work in timeframes.

Salary: 28.50$ hourly

Eligibility: This job is open for all individuals (excluding SSE visa holders.

• Applicants on holiday visa or work visa are eligible for this position.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned orchards in your area to collect kiwifruit samples.
• Walk under pergola structures and pick fruit samples as per guidelines.
• Handle fruit samples weighing up to 15 kg during collection.
• Drive to the nearest drop-off points and hand over the collected samples.
• Spend around 30 minutes each evening preparing for the next day’s tasks.
