Marine Pilot Job Overview

Education: Master Marine (FG) class 1 certification is mandatory for this position.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience working at sea as an Officer of the Watch.

• Minimum 5 years of sea experience in senior roles.
• 5 years experience as Marine Pilot.

Skills: Understanding of international, state, and local regulations related to port operations.

• Good communication and time management skills.
• Capable of making quick decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Guide large ships through approach channels, harbors, and offshore areas like Single Pont Mooring.
• Control ship movements to avoid accidents.

• Check weather and sea conditions to adjust navigation plants when needed.
