Details for Livestock Driver Job

Education: Degree, diploma, or education certificate is not necessary for this role.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of agricultural and driving experience is mandatory.

Eligibility: Only candidates having valid Canadian work permit are eligible for this role.

Type: Full-time and permanent

Salary: 32.50$ hourly for 30 to 70 hours per week.

Skills: Excellent communication and driving skills.

License: A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Drive trucks to pick up and deliver animals like cows and sheep.
Check the truck before every trip to make sure they are ready to use.
Help with moving livestock into and out of the truck carefully to avoid injuries.
Choose the best route to get to the destination safely.
Drive according to road laws and company guidelines.
Clean and sanitize the truck and trailer regularly to meet health standards.
Talk to manager and other workers about schedules.
