The individual applying for this role must be capable of performing variety of welding duties at site. The candidate must be familiar with using various types of welding tools and equipment.

Entry Level Welder Job Responsibilities
As a welder at AGI you are responsible for
- looking at blueprints and drawings to figure out exactly how the welding needs to be done.
- Setting welding machine based on what the engineers have specified.
- Carefully doing welding in different positions.
- Choosing right tools and equipment for welding.
Requirements
- High School Degree or equivalent qualification.
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience.
- Problem solving skills and ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Must be able to perform simple shop math, convert decimals to fractional equivalents.
- Excellent skills on weld fillet gauges to ensure proper weld size and interpret tolerances.
- Excellent with identifying and measure material.
