Details for Dairy Herdsperson

Education: Secondary School graduation certificate or equivalent qualification.

Experience: Previous 2-3 years working experience in dairy farming sector.

• Feeding and watering system
• Milking system
• Tractor
• Farm Truck and loader

Type: Permanent and full time employment

Other: A valid driver’s license

Shifts: Day and Early Morning.

Salary: 20$ hourly for 45 to 55 hours a week.

Nationality: Canadian citizens and other nationals with or without Canadian work permit.

Responsibilities

• Make sure animals are comfortable, safe, and have everything they need everyday.
• Look for any signs that animals might be sick or uncomfortable.
• Provide food and water to animals and make sure they have a clean place to live.
• Decide what and how much each animal should eat to stay healthy and grow well.
